Cue “Bad Boys” . . .
(Article by Mark Finkelstein republished from NewsBusters.org)
Earlier this week, we wondered, “does the liberal media’s bloodlust for President Trump know no bounds?” That was in response to Mika Brzezinksi calling for “law enforcement” to “come after” President Trump.
MSNBC has now taken things a grotesque step further. Tiffany Cross guest-hosted the AM Joy show this morning. And for her, it wouldn’t be enough for law enforcement to merely “come after” the president. Not even frog-marching would apparently satisfy her desire for vengeance.
No, Cross, after asserting that we are in a “national security crisis,” fantasized about President Trump being:
“Dragged out on the White House lawn like a 1980s episode of ‘Cops.'”
Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson assured Cross that, indeed, if President Trump refused to leave the White House on January 20th, the Secret Service would treat him as a “trespasser,” and “do their job” of removing him.
Here’s the exchange:
TIFFANY CROSS: If this president is just saying, ‘I won’t go.’ I’m calling the election fraudulent and I will not leave the White House. Will we see this president dragged out on the White House lawn like a 1980s episode of ‘Cops’? Like, literally, people are concerned that he won’t go. What will happen?
BENNIE THOMPSON: Well, and people are concerned. Some are wondering if he’ll even show up at the swearing-in of the new president. However, the law is clear. The Constitution is clear. The Secret Service guards the White House, and the sitting president. If the sitting president is Joe Biden, then Donald Trump is a trespasser. So, he has to be removed. So, he can throw all the fits he want [sic] to and not want to leave, but at the end of the day, the Secret Service will do their job.
Cross began the segment with a clip of the ever-classy Kamala Harris during a primary-season debate saying of President Trump, “dude gotta go.” Cross, predictably, echoed Harris’ line.

10:01 am ETTIFFANY CROSS: All this fruitless denial begs the question: when will Donald Trump finally acknowledge the reality of his loss? In the words of our Vice President-elect —
KAMALA HARRIS: And that’s why, dude gotta go.
CROSS: Dude gotta go.
. . .
CROSS: Congressman, I have to start with you. This appears as though we are in a national security crisis.
